Guitar Plans

The range of models of instruments that I make is always increasing as I create new designs. Currently I have 25 templates of my own design as well as historical guitars such as the Torres and Hauser models which I am often comissioned to build.

I am now pleased to offer, to guitar makers and art collectors alike, hand drawn, full sized guitar plans of my guitar models. These are not photocopies of computer aided designs that you will see advertised elsewhere on the internet. What I am offering are one-off drawings from my own templates, annotated with relevant information in my own hand. The exact kind of drawing that I myself work with to create my guitars.

If you are an aspiring luthier and you feel inspired by any of my guitars or mandolins, you could contact me (as many do) to ask my advice on such things as choice of materials, bracing patterns and other factors that contribute to the sound and feel you hope to achieve from your instrument. Based on such conversations I can draw a plan for you with relevant information, guidlines and variations which may help you build the guitar of your dreams.
